Module 3 Modelling

Q1: What might be the differences between a computer system set up for gaming computer system to one set up for a business to use? Think about the hardware that might be needed.

A1: Business people need to create and print a lot of documents, so they need big storage drives to store files and needs a good internet connection to do email. They also need mircosoft programs to do multiple things.
For gamers, they need highly developed graphics card, a high speed modem, a modern tower, a speaker and a big flat screen. They need a high speed internet connection to play online games.

Q2:Earl has got GBP800 to spend. How can Shateen work out if he has got enough money? What if he hasn't got enough? What methods could Shaheen use to help her work out the prices of these different options?

A2: Shaheen can use a spreadsheet model and use a formula to help her add up the compelete cost and then compare with the amount that Earl has got. She uses a cell where she can type in how much  the customer has got to spend and adds another formula to work out whether the customer has enough money.

Q3: What does Shaheen need to do to this spreadsheet model so that it is ready to use?

A3: She needs to add a title and some text labels and formats the spreadsheet to make it clear and easy to use. She replace the expensive models with cheaper models to fit the customer's budget.

Q4: How can Shaheen use the spreadsheet model to help her with the new customer? What changes might she need to make to her spreadsheet model?

A4: She can type in different hardware models and their prices and work out the total for the new customer. She needs to include a printer. But she may leave the speaker out.

Q5: How else could Shaheen present  this information to make it easier to read?

A5: She can make a graph to make the infromation easier to read
